Who am i?

The short version:

Hi, I’m Will Evans — the hands, heart, and sawdust behind County Line CNC.

My love for woodworking started back in high school wood shop, where I first learned the satisfaction of turning a rough piece of lumber into something useful and beautiful. Life took me in a lot of different directions after that — from serving in the Air Force, to working as head of the National Protection Agency, to years in the fire service. Each chapter taught me the value of hard work, patience, and service to others.

About seven years ago, I found myself drawn back to the woodshop — back to the smell of freshly cut pine and the quiet focus that comes from creating something with your own hands. What started as a hobby soon became a passion, and from that, County Line CNC was born.

Today, I focus on crafting household items like cutting boards and serving pieces, rustic outdoor furniture, high-end tables, and custom flags and signs. Every piece is made with care, using locally sourced wood, handcrafted quality, and practical, down-to-earth designs meant to last for years.

For me, woodworking isn’t just about the finished product — it’s about the process, the craftsmanship, and the joy of creating something that people can actually use and enjoy in their homes. Whether it’s a custom table for family dinners or a simple cutting board that becomes part of your daily routine, I want each piece to carry a bit of the pride and honesty that goes into making it.

Thanks for stopping by and supporting small, handcrafted work. If you’d like to see what’s coming out of the shop lately, check out my latest projects or reach out — I’d love to hear from you.
